Mind Power & Consciousness Articles

PSI: The 23rd letter of the Greek alphabet, the term PSI now encompasses a broad range of psychic functioning and abilities.

On this page we feature articles about the latest mind technologies. This month we present articles highlighting remote viewing technologies that were formerly used for espionage purposes by the United States Intelligence community and later brought into the private sector.

Feature Article: The Mysteries of the Mind Revealed

The Conscious Mind

When French philosophist Rene Decartes said "Cogito ergo sum" ("I think therefore I am"), he was talking about the conscious mind. It is the conscious mind through which we discover our "sense of self". The conscious mind derives much of its information from its physical environment reacting to sensations such as sight, taste, touch and sound. Conscious awareness reflects the external environment back to us for personal processing. Our innate analytical thought system then judges the experiences to form opinions. Each individual processes and filters reality to form a sense of self-awareness. The accumulated conscious experience creates a feeling of separateness that helps to define our personal identity.

Many analogies have been made to describe the conscious mind. One effective metaphor is that of the ocean. Our conscious mind thinks at the surface of the tide, but there are many depths below that it dips into and accesses for information. Another analogy might be the telescope. Our conscious mind looks through it and sees a particular object in focus, unaware of the world outside of that telescope lens. Thus consciousness is limited to a small radius, although it serves its purpose. If we were to have access to ALL of the information in the universe at any given moment, surely our minds would explode from the overload. How can you drive a car when you are tapped into millions of bits of information all at once? It would be a death wish. The conscious mind steers the car. Another metaphor for the conscious mind would be an iceberg. The conscious mind is the tip of the iceberg that extends out of the ocean. The conscious mind perceives the world from information derived from the subconscious below, and from the physical world around it.

The Subconscious Mind

The subconscious mind is very often misunderstood and confused with the unconscious mind. Subconsciousness literally means beneath the threshold of consciousness, or that part of the mind that lies just below the level of conscious thinking. Again using the metaphor of the ocean, the subconscious mind would be like the midwater zone that circulates between the warmer surface water and the deeper cold waters. In the example of the telescope, while the conscious mind is looking through the small opening, the subconscious is recording the impressions while also searching memory banks for corroborating information. The subconscious mind acts as your personal secretary who records conscious data and who also retrieves relevant memories from the unconscious mind. It behaves like the RAM (random access memory) in your computer. It filters and retains information for the purpose of directing it to its necessary applications. A very active subconscious mind detects patterns to predetermine conscious thinking and behavior. Perhaps this explains why some idiot savants can do what they do. While their conscious mind is unable to function normally in the world, they are able to quickly solve complex math problems or play extraordinary music by ear. It is possible that they are tapping into their subconscious mind directly.

Another important job of the subconscious is to act as a monitor, to take care of all of our actions. For example, when we are first learning how to drive a car, our conscious awareness must be extremely focused in order to learn the skill. Once we have learned how to drive, the conscious mind goes on autopilot, and the subconscious takes over, doing the driving for us, so to speak.

The way the subconscious operates is far different then our conscious mind. While the conscious mind is objective, relying on logic and literal thinking, the subconscious is subjective, processing the subliminal and symbolic meaning of words and imagery. Thus it is the subconscious mind that retains feelings and images from our dreams. Fairy tales and myths have long been used to appeal to the subconscious mind for the purpose of accelerated learning.

The Unconscious Mind

The largest part of the human mind is the unconscious. To use the ocean analogy once more, the conscious mind remains on the surface, dipping into the depths of the subconscious below, which in turn springs from a vast underground reservoir called the unconscious. Using the metaphor of the iceberg, the huge mass of ice at the very bottom of the berg represents our personal unconscious, which is comprised of all the data from our individual experiences in life from the day we enter this world to the day we exit. It also contains all of our physical operational data and our autonomic memory. Unconscious information is also derived from our conscious processing and impressions, some of which have disappeared from our consciousness through suppression or simply forgotten. It contains everything that is and that is not present in our conscious awareness. The unconscious mind has recorded all of the emotions we feel, every thought that we think, every dream we have, every image we see, every smell, every taste, every word we have spoken and every touch we have felt. The memories of every event we have had in our lives. All of our knowledge and wisdom that we have gained is stored like books in our own personal library. All of this is contained within the unconscious, within the deepest depths, at the widest base of the iceberg of our mind. Many people believe it is here, at the very base, that all of our minds are connected. Each individual unconscious is stored like a blueprint or a book in the collective unconscious.

The Collective Unconscious

The Collective mind, also referred to as the Matrix or the universal mind, contains all of the thoughts, memories, ideas and experiences of every individual who has ever lived. Like a giant mass, the collective unconscious is our planetary library that is generally inaccessible to us during our conscious states. The core application of PSI TECH's TRV training is based on Carl Jung's theory of the human psyche and its relation to the collective unconscious. This concept was developed in the late 1800's in a most interesting manner. Jung, an Austrian psychiatrist and contemporary of Sigmund Freud, was visiting a psychiatric hospital for study, which he often did. It was there that he spoke with a poor, uneducated patient who was standing by a window. The man pointed out the window excitedly and said, "See, the sun is wagging its tail! It is making the wind!" Later Jung was reading a book that he had discovered in a library, an obscure German text that was a translation of the Greek text that was over 2000 years old. In it was described a religious cult ceremony in which the initiate, after performing the proper ritual, would see the sun's tail wagging, and the secret revelation would then come to the initiate that it was the sun's tail that makes wind.

Jung remembered the comment of the poor uneducated man from the hospital, and it sent him on a journey to discover the source of universal symbolism in the human mind. In his journey he recognized that throughout the world, in all cultures and times, from ancient Egypt, to the Aztecs, to India, to the Native American cultures, to Europe, there were similarities in their religious prophecies, their myths, and their fairy tales that went beyond their cultural learning or heritage. There must be, he surmised, an original source that connected them all. This was the universal mind that all individual minds connected to. A common link between all inhabitants of the world, dead or alive.

One analogy would be like air. We each breathe in air. I am breathing in air as I sit before my computer writing this article. It is my air, which I personally am taking in. You may be on the other side of the continent, or the world, reading this article. You are breathing in your air. And yet this air connects us all, it permeates everything, the entire earth. This would be the universal mind; a collective consciousness that learns and changes from the experiences of each individual, just as the air is altered as it is breathed in and out.

One example of how this collective mind operates was given by a British biologist named Rupert Sheldrake. He took two puzzles, the kind where you have to find the hidden picture within the picture. He sent the researches out with the puzzles, and recorded the percentage of the population who were shown the puzzles that were able to find the hidden pictures. He then took one of the puzzles and on BBC TV, in front of millions of viewers, showed the puzzle, narrowing in on the hidden picture so that they could all see where it was. Then the researchers went out with the two puzzles again, one of which was the one that was aired on TV. They went to remote locations in the world where TV was not available, and presented the two puzzles to different populations. Remarkably, when shown the puzzle that had been aired on TV, twice as many people located the hidden picture. While the other puzzle still had the same original percentage of success. When millions of viewers saw the hidden picture, it became encoded in the collective mind, or collective unconscious, making it easier for the population to perceive.

Summary

So, we have our conscious mind, the one that is reading this article, and is aware of reading this article. Imagine that the conscious mind is the program that is currently open on your computer that allows you to read this article. The unconscious mind would then be our hard drive. The collective unconscious is like the Internet and the subconscious is like our RAM, random access memory that directs information between the unconscious mind and our conscious mind. It can gather stored information to make it accessible to our conscious awareness and it also gathers periphery, subliminal and symbolic information for data processing in the unconscious mind. The conscious mind is our opened programs. The subconscious mind is the RAM waiting to be triggered to access information from the hard drive. Technical Remote Viewing acts as the search engine that, on command, retrieves specific information from the collective unconscious, or metaphorically speaking, the internet.

When one Technical Remote Views, one is training the mind to recognize and bypass the logical and analytical conscious thinking, and instead work directly with the unconscious mind to retrieve information from the collective unconscious which contains all of the information on everything that ever was, is and will be. Thus, Technical Remote Viewing is referred to as a mind development technique that anyone can learn. Everyone has the innate ability to access the collective. In fact, try as we may, we can not get away from it, for we are part of it, connected to it in a wonderful and complex way that we are only just now beginning to discover.

Part II: "What Technical Remote Viewing Isn't."

A good way to understand what Technical Remote Viewing is, is to begin by explaining what it is NOT. Technical Remote Viewing is not like an Out-of-Body Experience. Out-of-body experiences (OBEs), as defined in parapsychology literature, are brief experiences in which a person's consciousness seems to detach from his or her body, and leaves, enabling that person to view other places without the physical body by means other than the physical senses. In other words, they go to and view other places OUTSIDE their physical bodies. For some who experience an OBE, they are aware that they are in some other "body" outside of their own but also their own, and can actually feel themselves traveling to another place, and often they see people in those places who are also aware of being seen by the OBE subject. Some of the physical sensations of an OBE may include feeling vibrations of energy, hearing loud and strong noises, and seeing everything with exceptional clarity, with intensely vivid visuals. OBE's are unlike dreams in that they resemble more of a waking experience.

The difference between OBEs and TRV is that while Technical Remote Viewing you are literally downloading information. While you are doing a session and staying in TRV structure your personal experience of the target is kept to a minimum. The structure itself is set up to separate out that personal experience so that it will not taint or influence the data collection. Due to the nature of the TRV structure, you remain in a state of high attention, where bilocation occurs. Bilocation during TRV means that while in structure half of your conscious attention remains in your body focused on the structure itself, while the other half of your conscious attention goes to the target site in the matrix, and gathers information. You do not go out of your body and physically go somewhere, and if you "see" anything at all, it is usually only brief fleeting images that come and go so quickly that you often can not recognize them. If the images linger and have clarity, it is your imagination, and not the data itself. You do not "hear" anything when TRV'ing, you are downloading information, downloading data that is perceived.

Technical Remote Viewing is not like Astral Projection. Astral Projection in occult literature is defined as the experience of being outside of the human body while conscious and alive. It is similar to an out-of-body-experience, in that a person projects his or her consciousness off of the earth plane and into the astral plane, a dimension that is vaster than the earth plane. The theory is that parts of the astral plane overlap parts of the earth plane, where the physical world resides, and an astral traveler can gain access to other planes from the astral plane, such as the mental and spirit planes. Some of the physical sensations of Astral Projection include a heightened sense of spiritual wellness and peace, and a visible glowing silver thread which attaches your out-of-body self with your physical self, and like wise to all living things.

The difference between Astral Projection and TRV is that TRV is a skill, not an altered state. When Technical Remote Viewing, one must be in a high state of attention, and to an observer it might appear as though the TRV'er is working a difficult math problem. It is the strict protocols that one must follow during a TRV session that keep the viewer focused on the target. During the session the viewer begins to bilocate, their attention being split between where the viewer is, and the target site itself. In this state of bilocation, the viewer continuously is going from left brain to right brain, and thus the data is objectified in one side, then the other, but not in both at the same time. The major difference from Astral Projection and TRV is that the data one gets when TRV'ing is perceived as ideas, not as an experience. And although many often verify their faith through working targets of a scriptural or spiritual nature, the process of TRV itself does not involve any spiritual sensations, and there is no experience of floating around with silver strings attached to ones solar plexus or elsewhere.

Technical Remote Viewing is not Telepathy. According to the Oxford Dictionary, Telepathy is defined as "Action of one mind on another at a distance through emotional influence, without communication through senses." In other words, telepathy is communication between minds. Although there is some confusion about the definition of telepathy, one of the most common definitions is the ability for two people to exchange words directly from mind to mind, without using the voice or ears. A good analogy is the radio: one person being a sender, broadcasting "thoughtwaves", and the other person being a receiver, picking up these thoughtwaves. A variation on that definition is that The sender does not send actual words, but rather images or emotions.

The difference between TRV and Telepathy is that no mind to individual mind communication is taking place. In TRV, the "Collective Unconscious" or "Universal Mind" are terms originally coined by renowned psychiatrist Dr. Carl Jung to describe the idea that a collective consciousness exists outside of space or time. That collective unconscious or "Matrix" as we call it is like a gigantic library of information which contains every idea, every thought, and every event that's ever happened, is currently happening or is destined to happen. As in a library, all of this information is stored much like reference books or blueprints. Technical Remote Viewing allows your individual mind to connect with the "Universal Mind" and access this information, teaching you how to recognize when the data is merely your imagination, and then training your mind to separate out your imagination derived data from the actual target-matrix derived data. One does not connect with another person's mind on an individual level, as one does with telepathy. During a TRV session, you are not chit chatting mentally with another person.

Technical Remote Viewing is not Meditation. Meditation is defined as close or continued thought; the turning or revolving of a subject in the mind; serious contemplation; reflection; musing. John Davis, Ph.D. at the department of psychology at the Metropolitan State College describes it as: a set of attentional practices leading to an altered state or trait of consciousness characterized by expanded awareness, greater presence, and a more integrated sense of self." It centers on focusing attention (either on one object or on all contents of awareness). The "more integrated sense of self" eventually leads to a transcendence of the sense of separateness to an integration into a larger, transpersonal sense of identity.

The difference between Meditation and TRV is that TRV is not a meditative process. Again, the TRV'er remains in a state of high attention and the process is highly structured and disciplined. You have to be awake and alert. You do not have to meditate to TRV because the protocols provide the necessary structure for your mind to be able to download the information. If you were to compare it to a computer, the TRV protocols are the software and the body is the hardware and you are downloading information from the Internet, or Matrix. You are not in an altered state when you TRV, although many do experience an "integration into a larger, transpersonal sense of identity" when they TRV, feeling a greater sense of unity by the knowledge and utilization of a universal consciousness, or collective. This feeling comes after TRV'ing, however, as during a TRV session one is moving so quickly, and adhering to such strict structure that one has no time to "think" or ponder.

Technical Remote Viewing is not Channeling. Channeling, in occult literature, is the process whereby a person, referred to as a medium, or channel, is used by one or more discarnate, spirit personalities for the purpose of presenting information, or for causing paranormal activities to occur, or to channel certain types of energies to or through the medium. It allegedly involves a cooperating effort between a person on the Earth plane (the medium or channel) and a person in Spirit (the communicator). Channeling is receiving a message from one being or force and transmitting it to another.

The difference between Channeling and TRV is that no "spirit being" is involved in the transference of data. Technical Remote Viewing is an attention management skill. It is direct knowledge. Once learned, this skill enables you to tap into the universal source of information. It is a systematic, highly controlled method of accessing information that is not normally available by any other source. The TRV'er does not become possessed of any entities when doing a session and the information is not from a spirit being, but from a collective unconscious. We can also eliminate witchcraft, tarot, palm reading, autonomic writing, demonic possession and general voodoo in this category as well.

Technical Remote Viewing is a systematic, controlled method of accessing information. First developed at the Stanford Research Institute by Ingo Swann and Hal Puthoff under the term Coordinate Remote Viewing, it was later utilized by the US intelligence community and further developed and modified by PSITECH when it was brought out into the public sector. It is an exciting problem solving and data collection tool that trains the mind, awakening and strengthening our innate psychic ability. Anyone can learn this skill, and as more people continue to use it, the very face of human consciousness will be changed.

The Real History of Remote Viewing

The facts regarding Remote Viewing History have become a controversial issue over the past decade.

When PSI TECH first introduced Remote Viewing to the public in 1989 nobody, except for only a few who were intimately involved, knew of its existence and that is where the confusion began.

There were PSI researchers from the 70's who had some experience with early involvement researching psychic phenomena and even though they did witness some interesting results, they did not discover anything very new or any great breakthroughs. However, a few years later, world renowned physicist, Hal Puthoff picked up the ball again and was granted $50,000 to conduct his own investigation to find a way to train people to become psychic. He began working solely with New York psychic, Ingo Swann. The two discovered the working remote viewing protocols which were then taken from them in 1983 by US Army Intelligence and put to the test by a small operational unit which consisted of only a few trained individuals. The Remote Viewing unit was housed under the directorate of the Defense Intelligence Agency at Fort Meade. Ingo Swan and Hal Puthoff were no longer involved and only a very select few knew of the units existence. The group was tasked with real world targets and they did provide useful adjunct Intel in many life and death crisis situations. Towards the end of the 80's word began to trickle out around the Intelligence community about this strange group of army Intel gatherers and people who did not understand it, grew suspicious and afraid.

In 1988 a turn over of administration caused the unit to fall into a disarray of administrators, so one General, one Major and one Colonel took the initiative to usher the RV technology into the private sector by forming a corporation that would pledge to keep the technology unadulterated and pure, PSI TECH was formed in 1989 to accomplish this mission.

Normally, privatizing a classified top secret technology would be against army policy but influential folks in high places had witnessed the technology's effectiveness and feared that it would be lost when the unit fell into chaos.

PSI TECH continued to work for government agencies as a private consulting company and in 1991 moved from Washington DC to Albuquerque, New Mexico

In 1994, Jonina Dourif became PSI TECH's Vice President and PSI TECH relocated from its headquarters in New Mexico to Beverly Hills, California. Shortly afterwards, PSI TECH also opened a satellite office on the island of Maui in the state of Hawaii.

As the civilian sector learned of this new phenomenal technique that could train anybody to be more consistently accurate then the worlds best psychics, many opportunists began making similar claims and selling fraudulent training systems. The market place has since become littered with hundreds of false Remote Viewing methods and many deceptive Remote Viewers' claims.

PSI TECH maintains that there is only "one Method" and anybody who claims otherwise is selling you a lie or their version of Remote Viewing. PSI TECH initially trained everybody in the civilian sector and some early students, like Courtney Brown, formed their own schools and changed what he learned to market his own version of the original TRV protocols.

PSI TECH does not endorse people who change the TRV protocols before they have even become proficient Remote Viewers in the original protocols they were taught. This would be the equivalent of having a person who only just learned to fly an airplane become a master instructor. Unfortunately, the spread of inexperienced teachers of remote viewing have created a polluted marketplace littered with unskilled practitioners who do not represent the true effectiveness of this very valuable and powerful technology.

And as if the waters weren't muddied enough, there is also the problem of the pre-discovery researchers from the 70's who surfaced to cash in on the Remote Viewing fad that was underway. But they are selling older versions of Remote Viewing before the breakthrough discovery of the protocols in the early 80's.

It is important to distinguish the difference between the "RV research program" which was funded by the CIA that involved Ed May & Joe McMoneagle, Russell Targ & Keith Herary and the Super Secret "RV Operational Unit" which was initiated by INSCOM and coveted under the umbrella of the DIA to utilize the discovered protocols. The latter was funded by the US ARMY and was initially run under the supervision of General Albert Stubblebine then handed off to General Edwin Thompson and then, passed over to Dr. Jack Verona. Under Jack Verona the unit fell into chaos when civilian administrators (such as Dale Graff) brought in tarot card readers and Channelors to work with the trained remote viewers. It was at this point that the operational unit split up and the trained RVers went to work for PSI TECH.

In 1990 "CIA research" picked the Remote Viewing unit up and named it "Stargate." They hired Ray Hyman and Jessica Utts as professional research evaluators to asses the Remote Viewing program. Although there were no trained Remote viewers left the CIA conducted the study as a strategy in order to document the evaluation as "minimally effective" and then to mount a damage control campaign in the public as a responsive action to a book that PSI TECH was about to release through Random House.

The funny part is that PSI TECH stopped the release of the book at the last minute while the CIA"s damage control campaign was already under way. The public first saw the CIA's public relations campaign about the declassification of their Remote Viewing research with Joe McMoneagle, Jessica Utts and Ray Hyman on Night line hosted by Ted Koppel in 1995.

Remote Viewing historical facts are still quashed by some who want to maintain a premise that the "RV OPs unit" and the "RV Research Program"program were one and the same but this is not the case at all. Joe McMoneagle, who was the main test subject for the "RV research program", did not even know about the "RV operational unit" until he was paraded on TV in 1995 by the CIA's public relations damage control campaign. (Note: that is why he did not know who PSI TECH was then).

The facts are contradicted and remain unclear to the public partially because of people's basic lack of knowledge of Military protocols and the Intelligence communities strategies of compartmentalization.

The DIA's Operational unit has still not been officially declassified but General Albert Stubblebine has spoken of the RV Operations publicly (which you can read here) and General Edwin Thompson, Colonel John Alexander, Dr, Hal Puthoff, Ingo Swan and Senator Norm Dix have spoken about it publicly also in a BBC documentary titled "The Real X-Files" which has played numerous times in the U.S. on the Discovery Channel. Because of their candid truthfulness, one can say that the Remote Viewing Operational Unit has been "unofficially declassified".

PSI TECH'continues to forge forward revealing the true history of this break through technology and teaching the original protocols in their most effective form because we believe as our founders did that we hold the seed of a new evolution of consciousness.

Part III: TRV Is Site Specific. What Does That Mean?

By Joni Dourif, PSI TECH President

Question: "I recently saw a remote viewer claim that remote viewing targets from a target pool (a stack of blind targets that are separately prepared) doesn't work. As I regularly successfully work targets from the online pool, I was surprised that a remote viewer would state such a thing. Is working targets from a pool problematic when viewers or taskers are not properly trained?"

Joni Dourif, President of PSI TECH

TRV is a "site specific" method of gathering information. The reason why Technical Remote Viewing broke the mold in the world of psychic intelligence is because of this very quality.

We all share the same five sensory pleasures (and pains) in life; sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste. The manner in which we utilize each of these senses to collect information is a standardized method. It is also an autonomic process which we achieve without conscious learning. But how about language? How did we learn to communicate using words? Someone had to come up with a vocabulary and then we had to train our vocal chords and tongues how to talk. Talking, unlike our autonomic abilities, still has to be learned. The methodology is a standardized process that we all share and because it works we do not question whether we have the ability or not. Learning a language "is a known" ability. We have been doing it for a long time.

However, if I told you that in order to learn Japanese you cannot be exposed to English, what would you say? You might point to any Berlitz school in the USA. If I told you that you could only learn one language, what would you say? You might point to the European continent where learning several languages at once is a common occurrence.

It seems that we all have recognized "intuition" for a long time and many if not all of us have experienced it in some way or another in our lifetimes. Some of us experience it in dreams that come to pass and some of us just have a "feeling" - some of us "hear" our intuitions and some of us "see" them or "smell" them or even "taste" them. Some of us "touch" them or manifest them kinesthetically on our skin. But what do all of these intuitive experiences have in common? They are all information gathering mechanisms that are considered to be "psychic".

The TRV discovery represented a breakthrough because it documented the system in which our brains and minds collect and gather psychically derived information. The TRV protocols embody the structure of the human beings' natural psychic gathering ability.

Once we were able to come up with a model of how it worked, we were able to design protocols which mimic the natural process. It proved to be a consistently repeatable process. We developed a language for intuition and like learning all languages, it improves with practice.

So, if it is suggested to you that you cannot TRV because of another target, book, or picture that is lying near your target, then ask that person if they cannot tell the difference between Japanese and English or Spanish and Chinese. If an infant can distinguish these differences certainly an adult human mind can, can't it? However, there is only one way to really know that this is true and that is by doing it.

Part IV: How Optimum Trajectories Can Affect One's Future

By Joni Dourif, PSI TECH President

Every year, since learning Technical Remote Viewing®, on New Year's Day, I have made a point of remote viewing my Optimum Trajectory for the following year. I have noticed some very subtle yet profound changes. I attribute these dynamics to my traditional practice of performing OT's (Optimum Trajectories) on a regular basis.

Theory

The Matrix, which Technical Remote Viewers access to download information from during a TRV session, is both static and dynamic. The Matrix is like a giant library of collected consciousness in which there is stored patterns of information, like blueprints or books, of all that exists, has existed, or has the potential to exist: events, ideas, things, places, thoughts and people. It is dynamic because it records all thoughts and actions of all that lives, breathes and grows. Every thought that one thinks, and actions proliferated, adds a paragraph or page to a book which is simultaneously growing with the added recorded data.

The Matrix is also static because all the thoughts and actions that have previously occurred have been recorded and are stored like pages in a history book. We call these "Current Trajectories." An individual's thoughts and actions in numbers and over time create cultures, and the actions of cultures ultimately create entire eras. These past deeds have created "grooves" in the fabric of the Matrix and like a well-traveled path in the forest, determines the direction of a future destiny. This is a known phenomenon. Most people are swept up into these paths because it feels easiest, like the path of least resistance.

We can live our lives following our "current trajectories," not ever realizing that an alternate, more fulfilling life could be obtained as simply as "just a slight step to the side." Optimizing our lives certainly is not a new concept to western culture. The past three decades have deluged us with self-help mania. We have been presented with books, music, meditations, spiritual healings, physical exercises, health foods and more to help us to partake and possess life's optimal offerings. However something was missing.

Application:

Many Remote Viewers at PSI TECH have found that we are able to take that first step to the side and slip onto our optimum paths by utilizing TRV technology. We discovered that in order to follow our Optimum Trajectories, we had to perceive them first.

Perceive not visualize. Perception is that sixth sense that we learn to tap into by learning TRV. Visualization is forced imagination designed to influence mood. Do not confuse the two because they are diametrically opposed to each other.

Perceiving ones Optimum Trajectory is an active procedure because we have learned to download data using a specifically designed application but paradoxically the download process itself is passive. It is a robotic function which allows free flow of data. The skill itself is the effort but continued practice of the application empowers us to download more data as we improve our TRV skills

The concept of these "trajectories" or grooves is similar to that of someone in a field. If enough people walk in the same direction, in a field of tall grass, eventually a path is worn - a trajectory. In these current troublesome times, for example, enough thoughts and ideas and actions from so many people regarding racial and religious hatred has built up over such a long period of time, that the inevitable current trajectory is war. On an individual level, this holds true as well. Now imagine you can TRV your Optimum Trajectory and remove yourself from the morass. Perhaps you will become aware of a new direction. It may present in the form of an idea, or an abandoned dream, reoccurring fleeting thoughts, or perhaps in a completely new concept. Every individual is different in this regard and the optimum opportunities can vary from a phone call away, a trip to be made, a choice made clear, or a feeling manifest. The possibilities are abundant and often times, they are just running parallel alongside you.

That simple step aside can offer you a direction that can lead you to optimum happiness and fulfillment. The more you TRV your "Optimum Trajectory" on a regular basis, the deeper the groove you create along the path of your personal future. You have actually opened it up and helped your Optimum Trajectory come into fruition. When this begins to occur, after many times over the same path, the event or trajectory becomes so locked in the "Matrix", that living an optimal life feels effortless and eminently fulfilling.

Happy New Year!

P.S.
Note to trained TRVers. I cue it "Joni/Optimum Trajectory," purposely leaving the qualifier "open ended" so that I can compare and measure the sequence of times and events from the past years' trajectories. More on this later.

Part V: Optimum Trajectories

Everyone has thought about living his or her dream at one point or another. A few are fortunate enough to fulfill those dreams. Most are satisfied tucking them away as hobbies as they search for meaning and happiness while struggling for daily sustenance and saving for an unknown future. Imagine for a moment that you have the ability to see your perfect future; to see a future in which you are happy and content, where life brings you meaning and fulfillment; a future where your dreams are made real. Now imagine you can see many paths before you, including the path to take to get to that perfect future you envision.

Using Technical Remote Viewing® , Optimum Trajectories allow you to do just that. Technical Remote Viewing® is a skill that through rigorous structure and protocol, trains the mind to access the Matrix, or what Carl Jung referred to as the collective unconscious. The collective unconscious is similar to a giant library of universal consciousness. In this library are stored patterns of information, like blueprints, or books, of all that exists, or has existed, or will exist in the universe: events, ideas, things, places, thoughts, people. As Dane Spotts, CEO of PSI TECH, explains, when you are Technical Remote Viewing® , you are accessing this library, "pulling down a reference book that deals with that particular target or cue that you've targeted."

So how is it possible, to see your optimum future and life path using Technical Remote Viewing®? In order to understand Optimum Trajectories, it is necessary to understand some fundamentals about the Matrix.

Human beings measure reality in linear time, looking outside of themselves, outside of the human mind. In doing so, they create the reality that we are either not a part of time, since we do not exist in it, or that we are stuck in a piece of time called the present, moving forward with it.

But linear time does not exist in the Matrix. What many of our greatest theoretical physicists are beginning to understand, is that real time is not linear at all, but instead, made up of what Stephen Hawkins refers to as "multiple dimensional continua". These are time dimensions, which not only intersect and overlap, but also "trade" information in doing so. In understanding time in this way, these theoretical physicists are now convinced that the future can be seen. So our goal, PSI experts claim, should be to learn how to travel the various paths of time by finding ways in which to work with real time mind dynamics, instead of attempting to "transcend" time.

We are now learning how to work within our mind dynamic. Through Technical Remote Viewing® , we are able to link our minds with the Matrix and download information outside of linear time and space, thus, we are able to remote view the future.

The second aspect of the Matrix is that it is both static, and dynamic. Carl Jung said that "each one participates in the collective unconscious, so we are each part of it--have an effect on the whole." The Matrix is dynamic, because, for example, it contains all thoughts and ideas of each individual person. Spotts writes, "Like an active node on a computer network, your 'mind-node' is always plugged into this Matrix, so that every thought you think, every action you make, automatically becomes a part of the 'collective'".

So how is it that we can remote view our Optimum TrajectoryTM>, or any trajectory for that matter, if the future is constantly in a state of dynamic flux?

According to PSI experts, there are four universal preexisting conditions. The first is that there are specific cycles of growth, and specific cycles of decline, which will continually unfold. The second is that there are constructive and destructive effects on earth that correspond to the future positions of planets. The third is that human beings have made mistakes and have had incorrect thoughts or "misthinkings" in the past, and those past mistakes and "misthinkings" are already effecting the future as it continues to unfold. Conversely, correct thoughts and decisions made in the past are causes which are still bringing forth effects into existence. This is the fourth preexisting universal condition.

The last two conditions apply not just on an individual level, but on a global level as well. So although the Matrix is dynamic, there are certain preexisting conditions that have set the future in motion on certain trajectories, current trajectories.

PSI TECH says, "the more powerful the momentum of an ensemble along a trajectory in time, the greater the chance that a specific set of given conditions will arise, i.e., that an 'event' will happen. (Momentum--It's a whole lot easier to stop a car from rolling down a hill at the top of the hill than at the bottom, and racial hatreds that build up over decades oft eventuate in a threshold event called 'war'.) But you, personally, may not choose to participate in the event, IF YOU CAN ACCURATELY FORESEE IT...we can make a personal choice not to participate in it, by [Technical Remote Viewing] it, finding the problem, and avoiding it." This is true both with worldwide trajectories, as well as individual ones.

In a magazine interview, Joni Dourif, President of PSI TECH, says, "You've already made certain choices up until this time right now, so the choices that you've made up to this point in your life, if you were to [remote view] your future, some people have a destiny, other people have three trajectories, and if they make this choice, they'll be on this one and if they keep going the way they're going now, they'll be on that trajectory, and in that sense, you can look at your future."

Because of the multi-dimensionality of time, and the dynamic nature of the Matrix, most people have more than one future to view in the collective unconscious. When we remote view our Optimum TrajectoryTM, we are seeing a future in which we have made choices and changes in our lives that set us on an alternate path other than our current trajectory, a path which has led us to happiness and self fulfillment. Our goal then, in the present, is to begin the work of making the right choices that will set us on our ultimate life path, and make our dreams a reality.

Part VI: Remote Viewing "Blind" Versus "Front-Loaded"

By PSI TECH President Joni Dourif

Last summer I did a series of educational seminars in various cities. The attendees were Remote Viewing virgins who were coming to find out 'what this Remote Viewing stuff was all about.' I had three hours to introduce and educate an audience who virtually had no template or thesaurus of the topic. Worse though, I knew I would have a fair turn out of the "presumptives" the folks who thought they knew about Remote Viewing but who had been misinformed.

I decided to include a live TRV demonstration during the final hour of these seminars. So, I grabbed Neil, one of our TRV trainees who was sightseeing around the country for the summer. I asked him to perform the demonstrations. He nervously agreed and we set forth. The first stop was San Francisco, Approximately, 120 people showed up and it started rolling with an overview of the history of the technology and PSI TECH, then I explained the "Theory of how TRV Works."

At the start of the final hour I announced that we were to have a live demonstration. I asked a volunteer from the audience to escort the TRVer into a back room so that they could be sure that he would not hear our discussion. After the volunteer escorted Neil out, I asked the audience what they would like to have him remote view. They called out several different ideas before it was agreed that we would task him with The Kursk submarine disaster which had tragically sunk only five days prior. I queried the room about what it was that they specifically wanted to know about this event while I explained that we were in the process of "cuing a blind target" They wanted to know if there were any survivors - so, I pulled out a file folder and wrote "The Sinking of the Kursk Submarine / Survivors" and we assigned it eight random numbers (which they choose). Another volunteer was asked to take the eight Numbers to the back room and give them to Neil and then return. The first volunteer remained in the room watching while Neil remote viewed using only the eight random numbers that he had been given.

I told Remote Viewing Stories and answered questions. Neil returned to the room after about 45 minutes and I asked him to read his summary out loud. He said: "I felt as though I was standing on something and that I was lonely, lost and confused. There were natural surroundings and objects. There is one man in his 50's who feels lonely and afraid. There is something at rest, waiting, watching. This is an event with the idea of rescue." Then he said, "This is a long shot but I guessed that this may be - The Russian Submarine disaster, the Kursk" He received a loud round of applause and I was very pleased.

Technical Remote Viewers begin their TRV training with "blind" targets. Remote Viewing "blind" means that the remote viewer has absolutely no information about the target. He or she only receives eight digits which we call Target Reference Numbers TRN's in TRV lingo. The target is actually picked and assigned the TRN's by another person called "the Tasker." The tasker is preferably an advanced level TRVer because the art of tasking and cuing a target is also a specialized skill exclusive to this technology.

Now, that does not mean that the remote viewer won't have ideas, thoughts and feelings about what the target might be -- because they will, but TRV structure provides a place during the remote viewing process to declare and dump these interfering thoughts. Blind targets are specifically utilized in the early phases of TRV training to clearly depict target-related data from personal feelings and grasping imagination. Performing blind sessions clearly delineates successful, accurate data from false inaccurate information. However, during the learning process, a remote viewer is likely to learn more from their failed sessions and be just "simply amazed" by their successful ones.

The perceptual antennae is the part of the unconscious mind that is learning how to process and transmit the data back to the remote viewer. During training It behaves very much like a puppy dog learning to walk on a leash - eager to please but difficult to control. Imagination, on the other hand, resides in the thinking part of the conscious mind and it has been programmed to quickly grab information and package it up for you. Imagination behaves very much like a chameleon - quickly grabbing nearby morsels of information and cleverly camouflaging them in the data. Therefore, failures and successes are "clear cut" using blind targets.

However, there is a time and place for front-loaded targets. A front loaded target is when the remote viewer is also the tasker, so he or she knows the subject matter of the target. It is considered a necessity to eventually learn to perform TRV sessions front-loaded.

A good analogy would be to use "riding a bicycle" metaphor; front-loaded Remote Viewing would be equivalent to taking the training wheels off the bike and riding in city traffic. Pretty scary idea, I know, but in order to get to our destination faster we must remove the training attire and learn to dodge the traffic to traverse the freeway.

There are of course those in the Remote Viewing community who claim that remote viewing front-loaded is inaccurate and impossible. These folks are of the same ilk however as the nay-sayers who declared that, "Ok, flying is possible but we could never fly across an ocean!" years after the Wright brothers proved manned flight was more than just a dream.

A properly trained and experienced remote viewer can perform successful front loaded sessions with ease and accuracy. When you practice this skill with regularity and maintain the proper structure you learn the difference between imagination and real data. And when imagination does leak through you have a place to put it. Skilled TRV'ers perform successful front loaded sessions regularly and routinely slip themselves occasional "blind" targets to calibrate their skill and reinforce confidence.

There are always incidents when it is a necessity to remote view front-loaded. Examples of this would be during storm seasons, wars, sudden people or pet disappearances, medical emergencies, lost valuables, sudden illnesses cures or causes, Optimum Trajectories and even finding a safe haven sanctuary. It would be a serious limitation and disservice if this technology could not be utilized in these emergency situations. An experienced Remote Viewer knows that there is a "blind aspect" to all of the aforementioned class of targets. The general target subject may be a "known" but the specifics and the TRV session outcome is not known. So, the above targets would more accurately be called "partial blinds."

I started this article telling you about seminars I taught one summer and how I worked a live TRV demonstration into them. What I have not told you is the reason I did the seminars in the first place. We routinely perform the company's Optimum TrajectoryTM to make sure we are running the business in an optimal manner. Several months prior to the seminars I sketched myself conducting seminars. At the time I thought, "what could this be I have nothing like this planned" - Shortly afterwards, the seminar opportunity presented itself and normally I would automatically decline such an endeavor thinking that it would not be reasonable for me to leave my company helm to "go on the road." However, because of the Optimum TrajectoryTM session, I accepted and I'm very glad that I did.

I learned a great deal about the misconceptions people have about this phenomenal skill and my interaction uncovered many fresh ideas which helped us develop the next generation of TRV training.
